CHARLOTTESVILLE, May 29, 2019: Barbara S. Anderson (Fellows Class of 2017), a principal of the Life & Estate Planning Law Center in Alexandria, has received the Conference of Local and Specialty Bar Associations’ (CLSBA) Local Bar Leader of the Year Award. This honor recognizes a bar leader who “offers important service to the bench, bar, and public.”
A past chair of the CLSBA, Anderson now serves on the Bar Council of the Virginia State Bar and on the Senior Lawyers Conference board of governors. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Virginia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
